In early August 2004 we opened our doors to three Early Childhood classrooms, comprised of 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old students. Due ot high demand and local interest, our classrooms have grown from the original 3 to 12, accommodating students from pre-school to 8th grade. In 2011 our original kindergarteners will enter Drummond Middle School.

Montessori's effectiveness is based on a multi-age setting, with each classroom comprised of 3 age cycles. Each classroom has a full-time teacher and a full-time teacher's assistant.

We offer a full-day program for all students, beginning at the age of 3. Our day begins at 8:50 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. All 3- and 4-year-old children take a one-hour nap after the lunch period while our 5-year-olds receive an hour of additional instruction with their teachers. For those families who are interested, we offer after-school enrichment programs in both academic and cultural studies. These programs run the gamut from homework help to yoga instruction.
